The Day by Day Homeschool Planner by Well Planned Gal is a great flexible yet minimal planner for homeschoolers. It is 6 x 9 and comes with gloss cardstock covers and a spiral binding. It is fully dated.
This paper planner is similar in design to the original Well Planned Day planner but is more basic. The Day by Day planner does not have all the big picture planning that can overwhelm many homeschool moms.Â

It is great for those who want to plan just a day or two in advance or for those who prefer to just track what you do each day. It is designed for up to 3 kids.
Monthly sections include a monthly calendar, weekly layouts, a reading log, field trip log, and budget form. The sections on the weekly spread are able to be labeled how you want: by subject, child, or whatever else you may want like chores, meals, or work.
At the end of each semester there are record pages for tracking attendance and grades, as well as holiday and vacation planning.

- Weekly sections are not labeled
- No extra planning pages many won’t use
- Lots of great online resources included with QR codes
Things we don’t like
- Colors can be overstimulating
- Only one theme and color option
