Purple Trail Homeschool Planner

The Purple Trail Homeschool Planner is a nice sturdy planner that is able to be customized. It comes in two sizes and has around 50 cover design options, all with the ability to personalize even more.

You are able to choose from 3 cover materials – synthetic, laminate, and hardback – all on a sturdy aluminum spiral binding. Some cover options are available in a sewn hardback binding.

The planner can come in 6, 10, or 12 tabbed monthly sections beginning with the month of your choice.

Each month includes a monthly dashboard with areas for focus and goals, supplies list, resources, and notes. There is also a full page for each of attendance and grades. A two page monthly dated calendar spread is next, followed by a two page weekly spread for each week.

The weekly spread has columns for the days and 7 rows that can be custom labeled before printing with subjects, children’s names, work, chores, or any else you desire. The inside pages come in either bright colors or grays.

There is a Homeschool Resources section included at the back of the planner. This includes:

Each Purple Trail planner has space for up to 4 add-on sections of 24 pages each. You can disperse some throughout the whole planner by month or choose to have them all in one section at the back. Some of the the many options include:

The draw to this planner is likely to be the quality of construction and ability to customize, but not the homeschool pages. The basic “homeschool pages” added seem like they were converted from a regular teacher planner and marketed to homeschoolers. Though this planner does a better job than some.
