Organized Homeschool Planner by Not Consumed

The Organized Homeschool Planner by Not Consumed is a beautifully made planner. The planner is a nice size, about 7.5 x 10, and is spiral bound. It is fully undated with a plastic cover that is very durable. It has recently been updated in 2022 and includes some fun sticker sheets!

It’s obvious much thought has gone into this planner. The focus is definitely on preparing for your homeschool year, and has much less focus on the day to day or even weekly tracking of school work. It aims to set you up for success.

This truly unique planner for homeschool has a strong focus on God and spiritual thinking, as all products from Not Consumed do. It walks you step by step through the entire preparation process for planning your school year in a detailed way.

The first tabbed section of the planner begins with vision and goal setting for your life, homeschool, individual students.

Section two is for planning, and begins with evaluation and moves on to choosing subjects, curriculum, and setting routines for your day and week.

The next section is for organizing your space and resources.

Section four is for organizing your students and their space and resources as well as deciding in advance how to store and keep their records. It also has a few pages to determine the independence level of each child.

The 2022 version of this planner includes QR codes for related training videos for each section. There have also been 1-2 minor pages added and a new overall design. But most of the planner pages have not changed from previous version.

After the four planning sections are 12 monthly tabbed sections. Each monthly section begins with a monthly calendar followed by scripture, prayer, and goal pages for mom as well as the kids. There are also pages to evaluate your month, and record memories and things you love about each child.

There are no weekly or daily planner pages included. The website says that “The goal of this planner is to help mom/dad create a strategy that works for the whole year. Individual planning is done in the Student Planners… by the students!

There is a student planner for each general age range. They are all lovely, simple to use, and geared for each age range. There is a planner for primary schoolers, elementary schoolers, middle schoolers, and high schoolers!
