The Erin Condren Teacher Lesson Planner is a high-quality paper planner that is quite popular. It is one of the few planners I have reviewed that is marketed for teachers in general, not specifically for homeschoolers.

This planner is able to be slightly personalized, mostly within the binding options and cover. It comes in 4 versions: Coiled, Focused, Softbound, and Binder. Each version has differing amounts of options and customization. They also are different sizes and bindings.

All versions include:

homeschool planet
  • Personal info
  • Communication log
  • Annual overview
  • Graph paper
  • Monthly notes pages
  • Dates to remember
  • Dated monthly and weekly spreads
  • 7 checklist pages

The weekly spread has 5 rows, labeled Monday through Friday, and 7 unlabeled columns.

In addition to all the above, the most customization comes with the coiled version of the Teacher Lesson Planner. This version comes with a laminated cardstock or vegan leather cover with metal spiral binding in the color you choose. You can also choose your cover design and add personalized text to the front.

The coiled version of the planner is a 12 month planner and it is the only version that you can choose between an August start month or January. You are also able to choose between bright inside coloring and more neutral colors.

The coiled version can be upgraded to include up to 14 checklists and 3 sheet protectors instead of the original 7 and 1 respectively. It also includes several sticker sheets, a folder, and a snap in ruler.

The Softbound version of the planner has a 12 month calendar that starts in July. The cover is vegan leather with a sewn lay-flat binding. I really love this binding as it is an interesting cross between a hardback book and paperback. It is flexible like a paperback with the sturdiness and thickness of a hardback. Just lovely.

The softbound Teacher Lesson Planner comes with all the pages listed above without customization. Foil embossing can be added to the front cover. There is currently only one cover color to choose from.

The Binder version of the planner comes just like it sounds – in a 3-ring binder. There is currently one colorful binder cover design and it comes with gold hardware in 8.5×11. This version comes with all the usual pages included as well as sticker sheets, a folder, and sheet protector. It has a 12 month calendar beginning in August and gold foil embossing can be added to the front of the binder.

The Focused version is a 12 month calendar which is changed slightly to a more minimal look in the design and layout. The cover is vegan leather and it comes in a 7×9 coiled binding or a 8×10 softbound binding.

The only personalization on this version is the cover design. There are currently 5 cover design choices and you can add a blind imprint of 4 letters to the front corner.
