Hi, I’m Jenn,
homeschooling mom of 3.
I see you there, sitting in front of a pile of books thinking how in the world will I get this into my kids’ brains in one year? How will I stay sane when the responsibility of their whole lives is on me? There’s so much you want to cover and maybe you’re not sure how to get it all in and make sure you stay on track.
Or maybe you get to the end of the semester and grades are due and you have no idea where to start to get things reported. How do work on all the regular mom things and also focus on your kids’ character, schoolwork, dance lessons, music practice, reading books, sports, church meetings,……ugh!
I want you to know right now that you are enough and the way you approach school with your kids is just the right way.
I want to help you get all the chaos, planning, and organization out of the way so you can stop feeling guilty for not being the picture perfect homeschool mom, cause who is? Together we’ll get a plan in place for you to thrive as a homeschooler so you can focus on what matters – your kids!I have been in your shoes. Honestly, I still am there!
I have been in your shoes. Honestly, I still am there!
I have been homeschooling my kids since the beginning. We officially started kindergarten with my son in 2015 and have been going ever since! I’ve tried so many different ways to organize and plan our life and curriculum and fun. And in all seriousness, I’m still perfecting, tweaking, and changing our system as my kids get older and our needs and lives change and grow.
I am a homeschool mom of 3 and married to my best friend Matt. We actually were both homeschooled as well! I am one of those crazy people who loves to plan things – I thrive with a list. I know not everyone is like me but I hope to help you find a version of homeschool organization that works for you!
Because I know how hard it’s been for me to figure out my way with homeschool planning, I decided to find ways to guide others through the things I have discovered along the way. I hope you are able to find inspiration and guidance here along the wonderful ride of homeschooling your children.
P.S. And since I really like lists, here is a list of fun facts about me:
- I was born in Kansas and have lived in 8 other states since then.
- I am good at getting clothes washed and dried, but folding and putting away…that’s another story.
- I pretty much can always go for a good juicy cheeseburger.
- I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
- I played drums in high school but haven’t touched my sticks since then. (We won’t talk about how long that’s been!)
- I have moved over 25 times in my life.
- I have a BS in Vocal Performance.
- I love to plan almost everything, but I rarely make a meal plan.
- I am awful at cramming in just one more thing and often end up being late.
- I love being crafty and usually have several projects in the works at once.
